ROLLING STONES
ROLLING STONES NO 1 Decca 64 UK Mono
-1A-3A UK LP EX
MONA ON SLEEVE & LABEL
Decca LK4605
Nice UK original with Mona written on sleeve & label.
A really clean copy!
Front laminated flipback sleeve made
by McNeill Press of London
is very very nr EX to EX condition,
with crisp edges.
There is a very small laminate crease on front
& some very slight browning round the edge
on rear but generally EX condition.
Original red & silver unboxed Decca labels are
nr EX condition with a few faint spindle marks.
Vinyl is very nr EX to EX condition
with a couple of small hairline marks.
Plays great all the way through with no jumps or sticks.
There is some slight surface noise noticeable between
Tracks but very slight, little or no musical distortion.
Item 165"
For accurate play grading (like all my records)
This record has been played on a Linn LP12 Sondek turntable
fitted with a Goldring stylus,
Listened to through full range SD Acoustics speakers
that have superb response and definition on all frequencies,
with a Quad Amp set-up.
For accurate visual grade (like all my records)
This record has been professionally cleaned using an
Okki Nokki cleaning machine.
First clean with purified water and isoproranol alcohol and
finished off with L'art du son / purified water mix.
The alcohol mix removes the release agent all records have
from the manufacturing stage, this hides detail in the sound.
The l’art du son mix seems to smooth out any brittleness
in the alcohol water mix.
