ROLLING STONES NO.2 Decca 64 -2A-2A UK 1st pr VG+/VG+ Blind Man Text
Decca LK4661 UK 1st press with Blind Man text on rear.
Has a front laminated SLEEVE made by James Upton Limited & has original correct inner sleeve & 1st press Decca unboxed Red & Silver labels.
SLEEVE has a couple of slight areas of discolouration & a few grubby marks, a few laminate creases on front where the record has been taken in and out of the sleeve but generally VG+ condition, leaning towards nr EX condition.
LABELS have quite a few spindle marks, but no writing & still bright and true to colour.
VINYL, Side 1 visually is VG++ condition, Side 2 more VG condition. Plays pretty well with full bodied audio, fairly minimal surface noise. Sounds great. Has had a professional clean and has been housed in a new Japanese anti static inner sleeve inside the original inner sleeve. Item 787
For accurate play grading (like all my records)
This record has been played on a Linn LP12 Sondek turntable
fitted with a Goldring stylus,
Listened to through full range SD Acoustics speakers
that have superb response and definition on all frequencies.
With a Quad Amp set-up.
For accurate visual grade (like all my records)
This record has been professionally cleaned using an
Okki Nokki cleaning machine.
First clean with purified water and isoproranol alcohol and
finished off with L?art du son / purified water mix.
The alcohol mix removes the release agent all records have
from the manufacturing stage, this hides detail in the sound.
The l?art du son mix seems to smooth out any
brittleness in the alcohol water mix.
