Description

"Rolling Stones No. 2"....


Over 60 years on,it's almost IMPOSSIBLE to find in this condition!....I have a few other early Stones albums in similar condition which I also have listed...So take a look!....

.

Issued in January 1965 on Decca (Unboxed)... LK4661... UK pressing in Mono...Front laminated Upton sleeve without flip backs... Complete with original poly-lined Decca inner sleeve...


The record looks superb!...There is ONE tiny mark on the first track but it is cosmetic as it does not affect play...Otherwise,the record looks superb with no scratches or scuffs and still with a fantastic sheen.....


As with all my records,I play them all the way through with a Shure cart tracking at 2G...You need to know exactly what you are getting and I am not going to guess how it sounds by a quick glance!...This plays as good as it looks!...No clicks,pops or crackle..It doesn't stick or jump...It's not dished and has no edge warps...Fantastic sound quality as well!.


The labels are undamaged and all the text is clearly legible...There are absolute minimal spindle trails...I doubt that this has had much play.....


The sleeve has a few minor defects...A few pressure lines around the edges...A little laminate lift along some of the top edge pressure lines and on part of the lower spine edge...The main reason for VG grade is the age discolouring  on the back and small seam split at the bottom of the opening edge....Otherwise,for a flimsy card sleeve of this vintage it is very clean and presentable.


The inner sleeve has visible age yellowing but it's the original one...
