This is the rare 1st press of 'The Rolling Stones No.2.' This press is complete with the very earliest 1A//1A matrix, heavy original vinyl and the original handling inner sleeve. The record is complete with the original James Upton 'blind man' laminated sleeve.
The record is in Very Good condition. The heavy vinyl has a sensational high gloss with a few small marks on both sides. The red grooved Unboxed Decca label is bold and extremely clean with just a few spider marks and some spindle wear. On playing there is some occasional background noise but the sound is still exceptionally bold, rich and clear. The record is complete with the original 'handling' polylined inner sleeve.
The sleeve is in Very Good condition. The image is sharp and the text is clear. The laminate has a bright shine, although it has peeled off in the top corner. The sleeves hace slight wear but are still extremely solid. The back has a little discolouration by the spine but it is very bright and unworn. The whole cover still feels solid and the spine has clear text.
