Issue : UK Original


This is the UK Original of No.2 by The Rolling Stones. This early press has the scarce 2A//2A matrix, the heavy original 60's vinyl and the original handling inner sleeve. The vinyl is complete with the 1st press James Upton 'blind man' laminated sleeve.


The vinyl is in Very Good condition. Both sides have a superb gloss, there are just a few light marks on both sides.  The original plain red grooved Decca labels are exceptionally bright and completely clean. The colour is solid and unworn, the text is sharp and there is just the slightest spindle wear.


The sound quality is Very Good. The vinyl lies completely flat on the turntable and the sound is rich and warm. There is light background hiss but certainly nothing that major spoils the enjoyment of this album at any point. 


The sleeve is in Very Good+ condition. The image is sharp, the text is clear and the laminate has a superb mirrorlike  shine. There are a few light laminate creases. The back has a little discolouration but it is very bright and the text is sharp. The whole cover still feels solid.
