Issue : UK Mono Boxed Press


This is the UK Mono press of No.2 by The Rolling Stones. This boxed Decca press has the scarce 4A//4A matrix, the heavy 60s vinyl and the original polylined sleeve. The vinyl is complete with the correct repressed laminated sleeve, with the removal of the 'blind man' text.


The vinyl is in Excellent+ condition. Both sides have a superb gloss, every track looks sensational. There are a couple of the lightest wispy marks but these are insignificant, it looks superb. The original plain red Decca labels are exceptionally bright and completely clean. The colour is solid and unworn, the text is sharp and there is NO spindle wear.


The sound quality is Excellent. The vinyl lies completely flat on the turntable and the sound is rich and clear with sensational clarity throughout.


The sleeve is in Excellent+ condition. The colours are warm and bright, the image is sharp and the laminate is absolutely mirrorlike, flat and stunning. There is the very slightest corner wear. The rear of the sleeve is also sensational. The white is crisp and bright and the black text is bold. The spine is very firm with sharp text and the whole sleeve is solid.
