A RARE ORIGINAL COLLECTIBLE STONES ALBUM BOX SET FROM 1982

We have been going through some of our old Jazz, Soul, Rock and R&B vinyl records and are proud to offer up on Ebay this week this excellent condition copy of this classic and very rare Rolling Stones Box Set released in Canada for a limited time in the summer of 1982.

ROLLING STONES: PAST & PRESENT

Mega rare official 1982 Canadian Mutual Broadcasting System Inc. radio show split over twelve vinyl LPs - a staggering twelve hours of music and interviews taking you through the band's entire career to date, originally for broadcast between 30th September and 3rd October. All twelve albums are presented in a unique high quality outer box.

This show is hosted by Dan Wiilliamson, and has commercials ‘built in‘. It covers The Rolling Stones from the very beginning to the 8/18/82 release of the movie “Time Is On My Side.” Comes complete with the original cue sheets including program set lists, run-times and commercial breaks.

The vinyl discs are in M- condition and the box cover is in M- condition with a little discoloration on the back.!

This is the ultra-rare original Canadian Pressing of this 12-LP Box set. These albums are very difficult to find in good condition as they were expensive promo items at the time and not many sets survived until today.

These albums are a genuine, Canadian-made product, a relic of a bygone historical era in American music and our shared cultural heritage. They are not only a terrific musical and artistic artifact but also a solid investment whose value is likely to increase over time.

RECORD COVER GRADING:

The picture of Mick on the cover is fresh, clear and sharp. The Cover artwork colors are full and bright. The original gloss is still there. There are no serious manufacturing defects. Corners and seams are nice. There is slight tan discoloration on the back of the white box, but not bad. Corners are relatively sharp. I think the box set is in overall great condition for a box set that is over 30 years old! No writing, No yellowing from age, No mold or mildew spots, No stickers or labels, No water damage, No warping, No bar codes, No peel-off marks.

? The record labels are nice and clean. It has the original 'Black & Silver' Verve Mono Labels. The colors are full and bright. There are no serious manufacturing defects. There are minimal spindle marks suggesting minimal play. There is no writing or initials on the labels.

VINYL RECORD GRADING: (NOTE: records are graded visually, and NOT play-graded!)

The Vinyl is in excellent condition. There are no scuffs, scratches or other visual flaws. For the most part, the vinyl looks impeccable without any obvious flaws or noticeable imperfections. Much of the original luster is intact, and the vinyl shines and sparkles almost like new.

All 12 of these records are pressed on beautiful, thick, inflexible vinyl, which was typically used for the very first pressings. Usually, the sound on such thick vinyl pressings is full-bodied, exceedingly vivid, and dramatic. These Records should play fine without much distraction or surface noise.

What a Fabulous addition to your music collection or a great gift to put away for that special music collector in your life. Please see the pictures for the best sense of the condition. And Please check out our other Vintage items we have up this week for auction.
