The Record plays through very well. Both sides play extremely well with only very minor background noise detected and this is mainly restricted to lead-ins of where needle has dropped, (which is common on older records that have been played), and on quieter sections, the gaps between tracks largely free from background noises, occassional odd click may be detected, but no skips or jumps. There are only very few some very light surface marks visible under a strong light light. There is a clearly visible light surface scuff mark on side 2 track 4 "Dead Flowers" which has most probably been caused by the metal zip. When playing side 1 plays excellent, light background only as described above, side 2 "Dead Flowers" light clicks at start and towards the end, track 5, "Moonlight Mile", similar light clicks mainly towards end of track. Certainly a very acceptable first pressing example of this classic record.
The Labels are excellent, both Labels show only very minor spindle marking under bright light and there is no wear to the centre hole, there are no aging marks, there is no writing and there are no stickers on the labels. Very clean rich yellow and black original labels, please see photos.
The Sleeve is in excellent condition, fully intact buckle and belt and intact fully working zip. First pressing Sleeve designed by Andy Warhol. The sleeve has very little surface edge wear, some light extreme corner edge wear, small edge seam split 10mm to top left edge. vet small slabel removal surface mark, quite invisible and no noticable, to top right corner. Small creas along buckle and tiny creases on buckle tab, which is toatlly intact. No other creasing to sleeve. The opening top no creasing to the sleeve inner. The zip is fully working and fully attached to the sleeve. Stcky Fingers title text intact, excellent spines, excellent bottom edge flap. All round an excellent sleeve.
Original Stones card poster in excellent condition, first pressing issue from Richard Davis Ltd, printed in england. COC 59100 reference, very light aging traces to very top edge of tongue side. No tears and no creases. Excellent condition.
Original plain paper inner sleeve, some aging, tiny 5mm split very centre of bottom edge seam, no tears or creasing. Made in England sleeve in excellent condition.
