Description
HERE is a lovely copy of Sticky Fingers by The Rolling Stones on very first press UK vinyl (COC 59100) from 1971, with the rarest and earliest matrices and complete with custom inner and iconic Andy Warhol zipper sleeve. The very first press A3/B3 vinyl is as lovely a copy as I have seen. Both labels are practically perfect with nothing untoward to report and only a very few light spindle traces indicating very little play over the years. Both sides of this barely played vinyl are in strong EX condition. When examining the vinyl under strong halogen light I could only see a couple of very light scuff/surface marks and certainly no deep or feelable scratches of any kind. The unlaminated single sleeve is in great EX- condition with no unwanted writing, no rips or tears, with reassuringly strong straight edges and near perfect die-cut belt and zipper area and no signs of any ringwear whatsoever (see photos); there are various indentations on the rear panel (virtually inescapable) from where these sleeves were originally stacked together, placed zipper to rear panel, and there is some loss of spinal text (only on 'Sticky Fingers'). The original double-sided custom inner is also in EX condition with no writing, no rips, no staining or foxing and no creasing of any kind.
