Up for auction is a beautiful, highly collectible 1971 US first pressing of The Rolling Stones’ masterpiece Sticky Fingers, manufactured at the Presswell Records plant (indicated by the "PR" suffix and "ST-RS-712189D PR" matrix codes). This copy features the legendary Andy Warhol-designed cover with the authentic, fully functional metal zipper. The vinyl grades at a strong VG+ with exceptional audio clarity, showing only a few faint surface scuffs that do not affect the playback. Original 1971 Presswell pressings are highly sought after by audiophiles for their punchy, dynamic, and warm analog sound mix.


Cover & Inner Sleeve Condition Details

The iconic zipper jacket is in solid VG+ to EX condition, displaying only light shelf wear and two minor creases, but it remains remarkably structurally sound with no seam splits. The interior cardboard zipper backing flap remains intact. Crucially, this album includes the original inner sleeve featuring the classic John Pasche tongue logo and album credits. The inner sleeve has small, typical seam splits from decades of storage but is exceptionally clean with almost minimal creasing & no ring wear.
