Description
This is the 1977 REISSUE OF THE ORIGINAL 1971 ROLLING STONES RECORDS U.S. LP WITH WORKING ZIPPER titled 'Sticky Fingers' from The Rolling Stones. It is Rolling Stones Records U.S. catalog number COC 39105, with die-cut cover with zipper and custom inner sleeve. Record comes packaged inside the cover in its original custom inner sleeve with track listing and band photo.
Please see my accompanying image of the custom inner sleeve and back cover for the track listing and other information. Condition of record is a high VG with a few surface marks and scuffs which cannot be felt and do not affect play and one small scuff in the track 'Can't You Hear Me Knocking' which can be felt and which causes a few slight ticks in that track and the VG grading. Outer die-cut cover is in VG+ condition with the zipper working very easily, and with no wrinkles or tears anywhere around the die-cut flap above the zipper; cover also has some contact wear and a little wear and light brown mildew spots along the edges and on the corners. Front layer of cardboard HAS NOT been detached from the layer below it along the right side of the cover as is seen with many examples of this piece. Custom inner sleeve has a 1" split in the middle of its bottom edge, some wrinkles, and a couple of tiny tears.
This LP with WORKING ZIPPER would be a choice addition to any Rolling Stones or classic rock record collection!
