"Sticky Fingers"....
Such a great album...
Original issues of this came with a big toggle for the zip...This was soon replaced with a smaller toggle...Some had a pointed end,some had a square end...(Not sure which came first)...Some have "Star" engraved on the Zipper....Some have "Alfa" engraved....Some zippers had 2 holes,some had one.
This has a square end,Alfa zipper end..It also has "Promotone" on the labels...So it's NOT a first UK pressing..The original was from May 1971...This pressing is from after September 1971...

Issued on Rolling Stones Records somewhere between September and December 1971...COC 59100...UK pressing complete with picture credits insert and zipper (which is fully functional)..
Visually,the record looks VG+...One side has a couple of small but visible hairlines (they go AROUND the record not across it)..The other side has a couple of small spots of discolouration on one track..NONE of these affect play at all...The only defect I noted was a little crackle at the end of "Moonlight Mile"...NO clicks or pops...Absolute minimal surface noise and a clean,undistorted sound....It does'nt skip or jump...It's not warped or dished..Played on Shure tracking at 2g...So...Looks VG+...Plays EX..
The textured labels are undamaged and show only light spindle trails...
The sleeve has a few minor defects which prevent an EX grade...Slight age discolouring around the edges...Some creasing in the zipper region..(The zipper is a bit stiff and I would suggest that frequent zipping/unzipping may pull it out of the sleeve!)...The back has a discreet price in pencil...The edges are slightly rubbed...
The insert is undamaged..
Clean copies are getting scarce now so I think a £15.00 start is reasonable...(Or you can take it away now for £50.00!)....
