THE ROLLING STONES - STICKY FINGERS
1971 US ORIGINAL LP VINYL with REAL ZIPPER
ALBUM - G+ (GOOD PLUS) & PLAY TESTED This played well, no skips or heavy pops but we did notice a light crackle at the end of "Bitch" and beginning of "I got the Blues"...a couple of small short scratches in that area could be the cause or the common indentation mark from the zipper.
COVER - VG (VERY GOOD) - only minimal ring wear, no splits, wear on middle of spine, small half inch silver foil tape on the back on one corner & residue from tape on front cover over zipper area - REAL ZIPPER. This also still has the ANDY WARHOL insert (it feels permanently attached in there, but it's visible without damaging cover) PLEASE SEE PICTURES.

This is the highly sought 1971 US original vinyl PRESSWELL pressing of The Rolling Stones’ classic album, "Sticky Fingers" (Catalog COC 59100-PR). This copy features the iconic, fully functional metal zipper cover designed by Andy Warhol. The outer jacket is in Good Plus (G+) condition, displaying honest signs of age including soft corners, slight ring wear, a small piece of silver tape on the back and a vintage tape mark on the front (VIEW PICTURES). Crucially, the seams remain sturdy with no splits—a rare quality for this notoriously fragile sleeve design. Best of all, this copy completely retains its original inner sleeve featuring the famous Warhol underwear graphic, safely tucked inside and visible from the top opening, instantly elevating this package into a desirable collector's tier.
The vinyl record itself grades visually as a solid Good (VG), showing some small light scratches, minor hairlines, and the incredibly common physical indentation track caused by the heavy metal zipper pressing into the wax over the decades.
This LP has been carefully play-tested to ensure accurate performance metrics: the audio tracks deliver excellent fidelity throughout, with no skips, loops, or heavy pops. Listeners will note some light, non-overpowering surface crackle isolated specifically to the tail end of "Bitch" and continuing briefly into the introductory bars of "I Got the Blues". Aside from this localized minor background noise, the record plays through beautifully.
