Description
PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER). OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.
RARE original Terre Haute stereo gatefold first pressing from 1967 on London's blue label with lenticular cover, original red & white inner sleeve, 1D/1E matrix suffixes stamped in the dead wax, respectively, on sides one and two and an odd label layout that is something of a stereo/mono hybrid with STEREOPHONIC text replaced with LONG PLAYING that usually appears on mono pressings (though this is unquestioningly a stereo pressing and even says so in the bottom right hand corner on the rear cover), "front side/back side" indicators substituted with Side 1/Side 2 and "UNAUTHORIZED PUBLIC PERFORMANCE..." in the lower label rim text!!! LP is VG+ with a small scratch at 6:00 on side 2 at the end of She's A Rainbow and the start of The Lantern that can just barely be felt. Cover is a nice VG with some light edge and ring wear.
I USE GOLDMINE GRADING MINT (SEALED) NEAR MINT: LOOKS UNPLAYED VG++: VERY VERY MINIMAL SIGNS OF US VG+: AVERAGE SIGNS OF USE, NOTHING DEEP, SUPERFICIAL VG: STILL AN OK RECORD, NOISE BETWEEN SONGS GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR: FILLER COPY ONLY. LOTS OF SCRATCHES
