Fellow audiophiles up for your consideration is an original and extremely rare and valuable forty-four year old Factory Sealed pressing of the Rolling Stones 1969 compilation "Through the Past Darkly (Big Hits Volume II)". The album was released on the London Records Label for US Sales (catalog # NPS-3) and was offered shortly after the controversial departure and then subsequent drowning of founding band member Brian Jones, who was later replaced by Mick Taylor. Consequently the album was dedicate to Jones and on the inside flap it contains a poem written by him which reads "When this you see remember me, and bear me in your mind. Let all the world say what they may, speak of me as you find." No Rolling Stone's collection would be complete without this incredible album. The many early hits included are Jumpin' Jack Flash-Mother's Little Helper-2000 Light Years From Home-Let's Spent the Night Together-You Better Move on-We Love You-Street Fighting Man-She's a Rainbow-Ruby Tuesday-Dandelion-Sittin' on the Fence and Honky Tonk Woman. The record is from my personal collection and has always been stored in a mostly dust free and smoke free climate controlled environment (not a warehouse).
