Description
BEFORE YOU BID PLEASE READ THIS LISTING ESP. THE SECTION BELOW IN BOLD
“STICKY FINGERS”,AN ORIGINAL VINTAGE UK LP FROM 1971 on ROLLING STONES RECORDS WITH ORIGINAL ANDY WARHOL “ZIP” COVER AND ORIGINAL SINGLE SHEET INSERT.
Please note there is some quite severe MANUFACTURING FAULT ON/AROUND TRACK 3 on both side 1 & side 2 of this record. Please see below
Side 1 track 3 into track 4: End of “Wild Horses”/“Cant You Hear Me Knockin’”scratch/possible jump at beginning, surface noise, some surface scratches Side 2 track 3 into track 4: towards 2nd Part of “Sister Morphine” into “Dead Flowers” bad scratches/jumps in track 4 . There is also minor surface noise at the beginning of the track and some surface scratches!
Ironically the rest of the record is in good overall condition. Probably well above average for this Vintage! There are no bad scratches, & no jumps, skips or “sticks”! There are some minor surface scratches and noise, but nothing that detracts from an enjoyable listen!
Please remember decks & stylus’s vary so this LP might be worse or better on any deck. What you are agreeing to bid on from me is the cover & insert, the LP is a bonus. I have purposely set the auction price low on the basis that a collector might like to own the original Warhol “working ZIP” cover, check photos I & 2 and the insert. Maybe you can add these to an existing good vinyl copy you are lucky enough to own.
I have pro-cleaned the LP recently but that cannot cure surface noise or scratches! And they really are quite deep, especially side 2. The photos cannot do them justice! There is some cover wear, but cover, and insert/poster are in good overall condition; please check the photos. Please email me with any questions you might have. Please check all the photos.I am happy to post to EC and selected countries. All LPs are shipped out in New Cardboard mailers with extra stiffener.I will discount postage on multiple LP purchases on same invoice when posted at same time.
I charge a UK postage rate of £4.20 for up to 2kg(or probably 4 Lps ie where a double LP set counts as 2 LPs) and for EC(£7.90 for 500g, probably 2, possibly 3 LPs). I will ship to EC and selected countries. Please email any questions about the item or the postage. Thank you very much.
