First UK edition does not have the inscription “A Promotone N.V. RECORD” on labels. Promotone company was founded only a few months later in September 1971 (Amsterdam, Netherlands), while the album "Sticky Fingers" was released in April 1971.

The zipper on front cover is completely blank with 2 indented lines.
This kind of zip is made of far higher quality of metal of the usual ones, and is easy to spot & date - when compared to similar clothing zips made in the late 1960s and early 1970s.
It is a very early made one.

A3/B3 matrix is the lower known matrix for this release.

Sleeve opened at both top and bottom. After jeans with a real metal zipper on front that unzips to reveal a man in cotton briefs.
The set contains also an insert with a pic of the Band on one side and credits & lyrics on the other side.
Insert says "Printed in England by Richard Davis Ltd."

On the B-Side there is factory applied label ink in the run out groove.This can be heard very faintly for 2-3 seconds.This ink bonded with the vinyl during the pressing process. It does not interfere with the track "Moonlight Mile" in the slightest! ( you find the pictures at the end ! )

Auf der B- Seite befindet sich werksseitig Labelfarbe in der Auslaufrille.Diese ist ca. 2-3 Sek. sehr leise zu hören. Diese Farbe hat sich beim Pressvorgang mit dem Vinyl verbunden.Es stört aber nicht im geringsten das Stück "Moonlight Mile"
