Description

From New Jersey in 1977, comes this rare religious psych LP by Ron and Shirley entitled Rock And Scroll on C&C Records (private). Rare private religious psych that ranges from soft cuts to full blown psych! Check out the songs Bad Love is A Demon and Love Is Real. Also contains two inserts-one is a 2 sided lyric sheet and the other is a drawn advertisement for Ron & Shirley. Not only is this a great LP, the story behind it is just as good! Ron had been in a 60's Philadelphia psych group. One night he went into the men's room in a club and took LSD and he looked into the mirror and saw the Devil grinning back at him! He then became religious and a private minister! He wrote several books on religion and was going to use this LP in his traveling religious show to help spread the word of the Lord. After hearing this great LP, I definitely would have loved to see that show, which never came off!Top notch winner with paste-on front and rear covers. Reminds me of Jefferson Airplane crossed with Marcus from Kentucky. This record was obtained by me from Ron personally and has NEVER BEEN PLAYED!! Never came sealed, but is a new,unplayed record!!
