From 1977, out of New Jersey, comes this rare religious psych LP by Ron & Shirley entitled Rock And Scroll on C & C Records. Rare private religious psych that ranges from soft cuts to full blown psych! Check out the songs Bad Love Is A Demon and Love Is Real. Also contains two inserts. One is a 2 sided lyric sheet and the other is a drawn advertisement for Ron & Shirley.
Not only is this a great LP, the story behind it is just as good! Ron had been in a 60's Philadelphia psych group. He took LSD one evening in the men's room of the club he was in and saw The Devil in the mirror grinning back at him! He then became religious and a private minister. He wrote several books on religion and was going to use this LP in his traveling religious show to help spread the word of The Lord! After hearing this great LP, I know I definitely would have loved to see this show, which never actually came off!
