Listen up kids! Long ago, in a land far, far away, killer good music RULED the Universe and Dio was KING! Just kidding (not really), but I got your attention right?
Ok, this is serious. Holy Diver in record form is SO RARE & SCARCE, and this puppy is near mint! This was Dio's debut album, and when it hit in 1983, it hit hard! I remember banging my head and just falling in lust with this album! It was worshipped by my friends and I like the love slave of metal that it was! And still is! And the real kicker is it's like a virgin with NO UPC! Hoorah! Oh, the condition...o.k....The album would be mint if not for a little baby scratch on Shame on the Night, so Mint-, otherwise it has a high gloss sheen and is a cherry...the original sleeve is pretty much a double sided photo album of Dio & The Gang having really good times biting their guitars, eating chicken and basically just being COOL! Rating for the sleeve is Very Good++. The cover is beat up but thems the breaks! There's an ugly piece of scotch tape on the front right, but none of the artwork depicting an giant, evil Monster-Demon beating a chained up Catholic priest to death while he drowns is impeded! Yay! The Last In Line was Dio's second release in 1984 and just as bada** as their first! There is a little 1/4" scratch on The Last In Line, so I rate this a Mint-, otherwise it is a peach and shines like a baby's bottom! The original sleeve is MINTY FRESH and depicts the guys havin fun while jammin on one side, and has a freaking awesome pic of their fans wearing black leather studs and throwing the devil horns at the camera while at a concert on the other! The artwork on both of these albums' covers and sleeves is worth the price you will pay for these sweet little gems of Metal Mayhem alone!
