When I think of the best hard rock and heavy metal singers of the last 50 years or so, Ronnie James Dio always comes to mind. RJD started with a boogie rock band called Elf in the late 60s, then on to Rainbow in the mid 70s. By '79, he joined Black Sabbath to replace Ozzy, and they recorded the metal masterpiece 'Heaven and Hell' in 1980. Dio left Sabbath (a couple of times) and started his own band, Dio. The band Dio was an integral part of 80s metal, and their music rocked! In 2006, RJD joined the band Heaven & Hell, who was Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler from Black Sabbath, Ronnie James Dio, and Vinny Appice (drummer from the 'Heaven and Hell' tour, and the album 'Mob Rules'.)

Ronnie James Dio left an incredible legacy of music, with all of those bands he was in since the 60s! (RIP RJD. The hard rock and heavy metal works just hang been the same since you lost your battle with cancer.) Dio always had lots of collectible merchandise, and up for grabs today is a TRIPLE SHOT three piece bundle of Dio goodness!

First up is the 2021 Record Store Day 12" picture disc release of the track "God Hates Heavy Metal" (Yikes...I sure hope not! Lol)! The A side artwork is based on Dio's 1996 album 'Angry Machines', and not exactly sure WHAT artwork is on the B side (but it DOES have song titles and credits). The track "God Hates Heavy Metal" was actually a bonus song on the Japanese edition, and not on the album that the rest of us got! There's also a live version of "Hunter of the Heart", and the studio version of "This is Your Life", both from 'Angry Machines' on the B side. Bought new and never played. Never factory sealed! One side of the PVC clear jacket is split (as MOST of them are, from shipping). With hype sticker.

Next up is a 1985 release of the song "Rock 'N' Roll Children", and on a special, limited edition white vinyl 12"! They also add two live tracks that's on the B side: "We Rock", and "The Last in Line". A very cool vintage 80s collectible! Vinyl looks great, and it will come with its original clear PVC jacket (that's split on all the sides). Jacket has hype sticker on it.

And last, but certainly not least, I'll add a copy of the 2010 Sanctuary Records CD of the classic 'Heaven and Hell' album, on a TWO disc deluxe version! They remastered this landmark album, and the second disc comes with a 7" mono edit of "Lady Evil", and live tracks. And the best part is this bad boy is STILL SEALED and NEVER OPENED or PLAYED! Three pieces, three ways to hear Dio, and three very cool items to have! A nice gift idea, for that Dio fan in your life.
