Rory Gallagher – Self titled album

Rory Gallagher (2 March 1948 - 14 June 1995) was an Irish blues/rock guitarist, born in Ballyshannon, County Donegal, part of the Province of Ulster. However, he grew up in Cork City in the south of Ireland. He is best known for his solo work, releasing several albums, and for his tenure in Taste during the late 60s. This is the first solo album by Irish blues rock musician Rory Gallagher, released in 1971. It marked his departure from Taste.
This is an original UK copy of Rory Gallagher’s self titled debut album released on the Polydor label in 1971. Not a perfect copy but still very acceptable and a very enjoyable listen! See condition details below.

The album is on Polydor Records, 2383 044. Matrix side one: 2383044 A//3 ?420  1 1 5 (stamped). Matrix side two: 2383044 B  11 9 (stamped).
Released in 1971. UK pressing. Stereo.

Condition: (as Record Collector's grading system)
Vinyl side 1: very good (has a few light superficial marks that do not affect the audio in any way and a very small mark that causes a small skip towards the end of the first track, that apart it sounds great, plays with no sticks or clicks and minimal crackle).
Vinyl side 2: very good (has a few marks and plays with the very odd light click here and there and a bit of background crackle at the very start but certainly nothing that spoils your enjoyment of the music, it still sounds great, plays with no jumps or sticks).
Cover (unlaminated): very good (light corner, edge and spine wear, a few light creases).
I have tried to give my honest opinion as to the condition. I will give a complete refund to the buyer if they are not happy with the record.

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM:
MINT: I very rarely use the mint grade. Only records that are still sealed or records that even under the strongest of lights are completely unmarked. Also covers that are unmarked/uncreased in any way and still look brand new.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
