HAVING DISBANDED Taste, Rory Gallagher set his sights on a solo career kick started by this debut album engineered by Eddy Offord. Opting to settle for a less frantic approach than with the highly charged Taste recordings, the album is a considered collection of familiar blues based rock ranging from ballads to rockers with Rory pouring his heart and soul into every note.

Some great tracks here including ' Just The Smile', a wonderfully arranged ballad, 'Hands Up', 'Sinner Boy', great rockers, and 'For The Last Time' which contains Rory's greatest vocal performance.

Backing is supplied by bassist Gerry McAvoy and drummer Wilger Campbell. Look out too for guest keyboard from Atomic Rooster man Vincent Crane.

Complete with the correct date coded inner sleeve - 0871

Pressing: Polydor, UK, 1971

Vinyl: Super clean and shiny condition. Virtually no signs of use and no spindle marks - possibly played once or twice at most. Grades as archive MINT!

Cover: Only minor signs of any use. Issued in an extremely thin paper stock cover which is highly prone to wear and tear. This one is in very nice shape displaying only a few imperfections. Sharp corners, no dings, no bends, no ring wear, no split seams and no creases. Spine is square and straight. Grades as top MINT-!
