Description

Here we have a rare Rock & Roll gem,the 7'' single by Rosco Gordon entitled 'Sally Jo'.It was released in the USA in 1958 on the highly collectable Sun record label and the catalogue no.is Sun 305.The B side is 'Torro'.

The record has the "Sheldon" stamp on the vinyl run-out indicating that the record was pressed at the Sheldon plant in Chicago;this is usually regarded as an indication that the record is a genuine pressing from 1958 and not a later re-issue.

The record is in excellent condition and appears to have been played very little.Both sides play very well with no jumps or skips and the overall sound is sharp and clear.
