Roscoe Shelton has many great songs to his credit, many that are fondly recalled by Northern Soul collectors, but none that you could call 'hits.' But that's what makes exploring this type of music so much fun, you've not been worn out by incessant plays of the songs on oldies radio.
This single is from August of 1967 and is one of his tunes that's held in highest regard among northern soul fans: "Running For My Life." It's on this Sound Stage 7 single and is flipped with "There's A Heartbreak Somewhere."
