Description

This is another sale from a my varied collection of records.

Excellent copy of a now hard to source album from English folk singer/songwriter Rosie Hardman: Cottage ASC7754 (1975).

Tracklisting (all written by Rosie): The Man from the Travelling Show, Saie Harbour, Michael, The Bride of St Lawrence, Airport, Bringing Me Down, Epitaph for Jeffrey, Sunset on the Island.

Featured musicians: "Gasoline" - Steve Jack (lead guitar, backing vocals), Paul Gooderham (rhythm guitar, glockenspiel, backing vocals), John Wood (drums), Barry Anderson (bass); plus Woodall Stanley (piano), Rob Ixer (Rosie's husband) (guiro), Harry Norkle (tambourine, backing vocals), Isaac Guillory (electric guitar, acoustic guitar, bass, backing vocals)

Produced by Chris Rohmann at Alida Star Studios, Syston, in July 1975.

Grading

Sleeve is virtually mint, signed on back "To Martin love Rosie Hardman x Let the sunshine in!". Visually the record looks not to have hardly been played, there are some marks on side one and a small light scotch on side 2 (that show up under strong light) so I would grade it Excellent+. It plays on my Linn Sondek virtually perfectly, no skips or jumps, there are just little crackles and occasional pop in places.

Note that record will be posted in a cardboard record mailer. Sleeve will be in a plastic sleeve, separate from the record and inner sleeve. Record and inner sleeve will be in a card sleeve.
