The Black Metal command ROTTING CHRIST of the Tolis brothers has been exist now already for over thirty years. With ''Triarchy Of The Lost Lovers'' the 3rd studio full lenght album knocked on the gates to hell in 1996. In retrospect, the music is a bit surprising when you consider that it came out between ''Non Serviam'' and ''A Dead Poem'' because both albums were pretty bombastic. The music here sounds earthier & more powerful. Many two-part guitar melodies can be heard, of course underlaid by Sakis' mangy vocals. The guitar melodies eat their way straight into your ear canals and are still an integral part of their live-setlist today. The clearer songwriting ultimately also benefits the album, which is why '' Triarchy of the Lost Lovers '' should be an interesting thing for friends of melodic Black Metal. Back then, people weren't so aware that ''Triarchy Of The Lost Lovers'' would mutate into a little classic, but today it´s true. Limited black vinyl repress with original cover art, double sided insert and A2 poster. Comes with 2 KREATOR covers ''Tormentor'' and ''Flag of Hate/Pleasure to Kill'' as bonus tracks.
