Since eBay is now charging for shipping costs, I have decided to now offer free shipping for all purchases.  Please note that I still must charge for international shipping -- please see the note below. 

This item is an original pressing of the vinyl LP entitled Country Life by Roxy Music, released in 1974 on Atco Records.  While we may think that we now live in a politically-correct world on steroids – where even the blandest and most innocuous comment can be perceived to have improper connotations – we have actually lived in such a world for a long time.  I present to you exhibit A – the album Country Life by Roxy Music.  Long before Amorica (Black Crowes) and The Pros and Cons of Hitch Hiking (Roger Waters), there was this inspiring album cover.  Their covers always featured beautiful women, but it was this album cover in its original form over thirty years ago that resulted in one of the first edited rock LP covers ever.  On this particular pressing, the two young ladies remain prominent (the edited cover removed them).  This pressing is an original pressing, and also features the classic yellow Atco Records label without barcode on the back cover.  The cover would be near-mint if not only for a very, very small sticker mark in the upper left-hand corner.

The vinyl is in near-mint condition.  The cover is in excellent condition, as described above and as shown in the photo.                                                           

NOTE TO ALL BUYERS OUTSIDE OF THE US:  Pursuant to Paypal Seller Protection Policy sections 11.3 and 11.4, EVERY item paid for by Paypal MUST be sent via PRIORITY INTERNATIONAL MAIL.  PLEASE NOTE THAT BIDDING ON THIS ITEM IS ACCEPTANCE OF THIS REQUIREMENT.  The fact that other sellers may send items by First Class International -- and put themselves at risk for claims -- is immaterial.  In addition, the USPS just increased their rates.  To Canada, the cost for 1 single LP is $22.75USD.  To Europe, the cost for 1 single LP is $30.75USD.  Multi-album LP sets cost more, so if you have any question at all about postage, please e-mail me before the auction ends (but please give me enough time to respond).  Other countries will be about the same as to Europe.  Combining multiple albums saves money, and I can send you the shipping costs upon request BEFORE YOU BID.  I recognize that this results in very high shipping costs, but it is of no benefit to me because the money is paid to the USPS for postage.  If you think this policy is unfair, contact Paypal -- I'm only following their rules.  If you have any questions about my shipping policy or costs, please send me an e-mail via My eBay.

I am not a dealer, and all of the items I place up for auction are from my personal collection gathered over the past forty-plus years.  I am selling my collection little by little to pay for college expenses for my two kids, in my spare time. 

Shipping within the US is free, via media mail.  If you want Priority shipping within the U.S., the cost is a function of weight and postal zone, and I will e-mail an invoice indicating the cost of priority (I can also provide this info while the auction is pending, if you e-mail me your zip code and the number of LPs). 

Insurance through the USPS is available, and once again my invoice will provide the cost information.  

NOTE:  Sealed items are collectible because they are sealed.  Since I do not own a store, I cannot return items to the manufacturer.  Once opened, I cannot refund the purchase price in full because opening significantly affects its value. 

NOTE: Media mail does not have tracking.  The USPS offers delivery confirmation with online tracking.  If you want online tracking with delivery confirmation,  ability, you must purchase delivery confirmation for $0.75.  

International Buyers – Please Note:

·         Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.

·         Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying.

·         These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up – do not confuse them for additional shipping charges.

·         We do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as "gifts" - US and International government regulations prohibit such behavior.

I will always combine items.  Payment may be made by paypal.  If I do not receive payment for an item within fifteen (15) days of the end of the auction and I do not hear from you in response to e-mails, I will consider the auction results void and relist the item(s) for auction.
