OFFERED FOR SALE IS...
ROY HARPER - FLASHES FROM THE ARCHIVES OF OBLIVION
(NEVER SEEN OF HEARD OF THIS BEFORE, A VERY RARE 1ST PRESS ONLY DONE FOR PROMOTION WITH AN UNCENSORED STICKER ON THE COVER SHOWING THE ACTUAL PHOTO USED! SIGNED OVER IT BY ROY IN PERSON WITH HANDWRITTEN COMMENTS,
HE DID SAY THAT THIS WAS A FACTORY SAMPLE AND THAT THE PRESSING CAUSED A STIR WITH THE FEMALE STAFF AT THE PRESSING PLANT BACK IN THE DAY AND THAT THEY REFUSED TO PRESS IT SO THEY USED A BLACK STICKER WHICH WAS LATER MADE PERMINANT ON THE PRINTED COVER. ROY LATER GOT HIS OWN BACK ON EMI WHEN HE REALIZED THAT THE RECORD COMPANY WAS DIFFERENT FROM THE PUBLISHERS AND STOPPED AN ALBUM FROM BEING RELEASED IN '79 BUT HAD HE KNOWN WHEN FLASHES WAS BEING PRESSED HE WOULD HAVE MADE THE SAME RANSOM! PLAY GRADING
Most albums are cleaned on a professional VPI 16.5 record cleaning machine to remove any debris hidden in the grooves (This is done purely by suction and not with any “surface treatments”). Then they are play graded on a Michel Gyrodeck with top quality Ortofon Moving coil cartridge.
All items are fully guaranteed to your satisfaction.
PACKAGING
When posted the records are removed from the covers and placed in a PVC outer protective sleeve to stop sleeve splits in the post. We use brand new top quality mailers, either the Envelope style with super thick stiffeners to stop any sleeve bends in transit, or the “cruciform” style that wrap around the LP. We do sometimes recycle packaging (old hippies you see) but only where they are of good enough quality to meet our own exacting standards.
POSTAGE RATES
Within the UK postage rates for 1 LP is £10 next day special delivery when funds clear (then £6.50 thereafter) which covers you for insurance up to £500.
PLEASE NOTE ! International insurence is included on all postage costs.
Outside the UK special international delivery rates are as follows
EUROPE £24.50 first LP then £12.50 thereafter
USA / CANADA £26.50 first LP then £23.50 thereafter
JAPAN / KOREA / AUSTRALIA £28.50 first LP then £14.50 thereafter
All postage costs are covered for loss and damage of upto £500
