 Up for auction is a super rare copy of the psych-folk Roy Harper album "Folkjokeopus" originally released on World Pacific Records (WPS-21888) in 1969.  This is a guaranteed, original U.S. first deep groove pressing, not a cheap reissue or later pressing.  Promotional stamp embossed in upper right corner (see photo).  Great record, a true psych-folk classic for good reason.

The cover is in great condition, with very few signs of previous use or handling.  This matte finish cover was very prone to wear, but this copy is very well-preserved.  Small amount of rubbing at top and bottom middle, and a little rubbing near spine (see photo).  Back cover is nice and clean, no ring wear or age discoloration, nice and bone white, as it should be.  No marks, no writing.  Seams are strong, no splits.  Corners are sharp, not bumped, with only a small amount of rubbing.  Grade the cover Near Mint Minus (NM-), one of the nicer examples that you'll find.

The vinyl is also in really nice condition, retaining its original high gloss shine.  No scratches or scuffs.  Some faint signs of having been taken in and out of paper inner sleeve a few times.  Labels are clean, no marks around spindle holes, indicating little previous play.  Play tested, the sounds is clean and strong.  Grade the vinyl Near Mint Minus (NM-).  Probably won't find a nicer copy any time soon.
