Description
ROY HARPER
THE RETURN OF THE SOPHISTICATED BEGGAR
1973 uk Birth RAB 3 (A1-B1). NM/NM. Here is rarely offered 1973 uk Birth label issue of Roy Harper's superb 1966 debut folk album, the original 1966 uk Strike label mono issue is one of the uk's rarest folk albums, the 1970 Youngblood issue is rare, and this Birth issue on offer here sold in only tiny amounts and is just as hard to find. All pictures used in this listing are also of the actual item. Please check out my other items!.
CONDITION = NM/NM
This copy is in outstanding condition inside and out. The fully laminated single sleeve was made and printed in the uk by 'P.Linard & Co Ltd', the lamination has a really excellent high gloss finish and looks simply amazing, this fully laminated cover is in brilliant clean condition with no wear and barely any creasing, it would be near impossible to find this cover in better condition. The Birth labels are nice and clean apart from a small smudge mark on the label of side-2. The vinyl has a superb original clean sheen and looks as close to new as you will find with barely any signs of play, this album actually looks just about perfect and all tracks play and sound top excellent+ throughout with no annoying surface noise and lessoning in the sound quality at all, it's very obvious that this rare LP has been very well looked after and barely played. The original white paper inner sleeve is in excellent clean condition and has no creasing/marks or rips. This is just a fantastic all round copy that would be extremely difficult to beat.

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ BEFORE DECIDING TO BID
I pack my records very well with plenty of rigid card support to avoid damage. I keep all Post Office Payment Recipes as proof of postage. I always print my name and address on the back of all parcels i send, so the chances of a item going missing are pretty much nil. I cannot take responsibility for any non-insured items that may be unfortunate to go missing or get damaged in the post. The recorded post option is always there, it may cost a few extra pounds for international buyers, but it is definitely worth it for the extra piece of mind. So, if for some reason a non-insured parcel does not arrive, then i'm afraid that i cannot be held responsible for loss or damage. If you do not agree to this then please do not bid. Thank you.
