ROY HARPER - STORMCOCK

ORIGINAL HARVEST BOXED EMI LABEL EARLY SECOND UK PRESSING WITH GARROD & LOFTHOUSE GATEFOLD SLEEVE IN NEAR MINT PLAYING CONDITION.

SHVL 789

Released in 1971 This is an original boxed EMI UK HARVEST label pressing of this classic fifth studio album by Manchester folk legend ROY HARPER titled 'STORMCOCK'. This album features some of Roy's best work and features Led Zeppelin legend JIMMY PAGE. Every track on this album is pure gold.

This album comes in its original Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold sleeve which is in excellent condition and it comes with its original EMI company inner.

Tracks on this album are HORS D' OEUVRES - THE SAME OLD ROCK - ONE MAN ROCK AND ROLL BAND - ME AND MY WOMAN.

The VINYL, The Vinyl visually and audibly is in near mint condition. I have just played it through for this listing and I can state that this plays through nicely, with absolutely no sticks or skips.

The Garrod & Lofthouse printed gatefold sleeve is excellent, a very respectable example, overall it is clean with no stickers and no unwanted writing and no nasty creases etc a respectable example. Needless to say that the spine text is fully legible.

The LABELS, The boxed harvest labels are very clean showing hardly any spindle wear, and completely free from unwanted writing or stickers etc. This has not been played more than a few times.

The INNER, The original EMI company inner is very clean with no splits etc and no unwanted writing.

I try to be accurate in my grading as I know what its like to buy miss graded items but won't insult you by writing song lyrics etc. If you feel I have not described this correctly I am happy to refund you providing I receive the item back in the same condition as it leaves me, But I can only refund one lot of postage,
