1st original 1962 US stereo pressing with super clean labels and wearless spindle hole

Matrix / runout (Side A)  : AS 23 A  engraved by hand

Matrix / runout (Side B) : AS 23 B   engraved by hand

and STEREO  VAN GELDER  machine engraved on both sides

This thick, heavy vinyl shines and sparkles as new and looks carefully played few times

Visual grade

Side A : VERY VERY CLOSE to MINT

The playing surface looks free of any noticeable signs of wear or handling. With NO scuffs, NO marks, NO scratches, NO groove wear

Side B : MINT-

Excepting a couple of minuscule, extremely light, faint hints of wax flaws, hardly visible under a strong bulb lamp, the playing surface looks free of any signs of handling. With NO scuffs, NO marks, NO scratches

Audio grade

Side A : VERY VERY CLOSE to MINT !

Plays absolutely great with NO blemishes of any kind! With NO tics, NO clicks, NO skips and, NO surface or background noise

Side B

1st/ 2nd/ 3rd tracks : VERY VERY CLOSE to MINT !

Graded as such because of a shortest (7 revolutions) episode of light background tickin' to the beginning of the track, softly feelable well below the music level, caused by the flaw noted above my visual inspection

The front side retains its striking, glossy original shape and is graded as such only because of a minor hint of laminate lifting near the spine, hardly noticeable and not affecting the beauty and the integrity of the artwork whatsoever !
