DEMO DELIGHTS - Part of my collection being offered over the next few weeks!

Please make sure you're happy with the shipping costs before bidding. Due to past claims for non delivery, I will now only ship by secure "Signed For" service in line with eBay recommended policy with tracking number provided for peace of mind. Please be mindful of this when leaving feedback. Thank you for your understanding.

During the 50's and early 60's, the UK London label released demo copies of their catalogue as single sided discs and it's increasingly hard to find an original pairing of both the 'A' and 'B' side together. Eventually released as catalogue # HLU 9149, we have on offer the following 1960 pairing from ROY ORBISON;

DISC 1: "ONLY THE LONELY (KNOW HOW I FEEL)" with Matrix # MSCL 4439 that remains in a strong very good plus condition (plays as excellent) and plays perfectly throughout with some crackle on the lead-in and run-off groove and quieter sections and with light sleeve rubs and surface scuffs that don't affect play. This copy has the solid centre and the label is clean with light ring wear and with written annotations in the form of the running time and a factory rubber stamped catalogue number (see picture scan 1).

DISC 2: "HERE COMES THAT SONG AGAIN" with Matrix # MSCL 4440 that remains in excellent plus condition (plays as mint minus) and plays superbly throughout with the barest minimum of crackle on the lead-in and run-off groove and with minimal light sleeve rubs and scuffs that don't affect play. This copy has the solid centre and the label is extremely clean with light ring wear and with written annotations in the form of the running time and a factory rubber stamped catalogue number (see picture scan 2).

Paired with an original buff paper sleeve that was common to London demos of the period albeit; with different reference number annotations.

From my personal collection that I'm downsizing so why not check my other listings for more great sounds.

The discs will be shipped in a stiffened card outer by Royal Mail Large Letter First Class "Signed For" service only at a cost of £2.99 or, overseas by "Signed for" service at the costs indicated. This provides protection for both parties in the unlikely event of loss.

Postage discounts available for multiple purchases. Request total and await invoice before making payment.

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT FEEDBACK WILL ALWAYS BE LEFT BUT ONLY AFTER FIRST RECEIVING THE SAME.
