ROY ORBISON "CRYING" LP Mono 1962 MONUMENT RECORDS VG++ Vinyl Pop Rock M 4007
Roy Orbison's second album (in mono) features early Orbison production flourishes, with swooping strings and full vocal choruses. With such tracks as "Love Hurts", the title track and the epic hit "Running Scared", most of the cuts lean toward Orbison's more sentimental side. On the up-tempo side are "Nite Life" and "Let's Make A Memory", with their bouncing string arrangements.
Vinyl is in VG+ to EX condition with only a few very light scratches (none that can be felt with a fingernail). Nice and glossy copy.
Sleeve is in VG condition, all three edges have been taped (nicely and neatly) by the previous owner to either fix or prevent splits, chipping and/or edge wear. Has "$20.00" written in pencil on the back. Minor wear but nice and glossy overall.
This album would make a fantastic addition to your collection, or wonderful gift for that special Roy Orbison fan in your life!
