Description

This is THE ROYAL GUARDSMEN  Snoopy And His Friends LP on Laurie Records SLLP 2042  USA Stereo,  1967. First pressing. Comes as issued with removable Snoopy's Christmas poster pasted as flyleaf on rear cover, still attached. Believe this to be a Rockaway pressing.  More info can be found on Discogs. This is Discogs release  r12262190.    Has SSLP 2042 Stereo on cover, SLP 2042 with no mention of stereo on                                                                                          


The COVER  VG  Signs of shelf wear. Some edge wear. Front has a little rubbing  on the yellow doghouse. No splits. No writing or tape. The poster on the rear shows some ring wear, but no tears. Rear cover is age related foxing.  Corners are still excellent. You could call it VG+ with no splits,writing or tape.                                                                                                                                                     


The VINYL  VG  Play graded both sides. This vinyl gets a VG+ to Excellent for sound quality. Strong  VG for visual grade. Side one has some light sleeve marks, a few light scratches and short marks.It does have a long scuff.  Nothing feelable or causes crackle, pops or ticking. Side 2 looks better but sounds as good as side 1 or better. Record is not perfectly flat but has a slight warp that in no way affects playback.   Not a top copy but very enjoyable.                                                               


The LABELS   VG+ Deep Groove labels. I  could see some stray spindle trails visable under a bright light.   No writing.  Minimal  spindle hole wear.                                                                                                                                      


The SLEEVE  VG   original generic paper.  Paper is a little heavier than typical. Has tanning, probably from acid content in the paper.                                                                                                                                    

                             



All records will be mailed in sturdy, recycled record specific mailer boxes with extra padding.  Disc will be removed from jacket and picture sleeve to eliminate splitting caused by transit shifting.  I use USPS Media mail.  I am happy to combine shipping.
