Description
Happy Mondays remain one of the most cult bands in UK dance music history.
Few had the success and widespread fanbase of these misfits, and to this day their iconic tunes still carry power musically as well as potent messaging.
For 2021 Record Store Day release, London has pulled together big remixes of their most famous tune 'Hallelujah.'
Ewan Pearson's is all slow motion drum churns and patient euphoria, the club mix has beefier drums and the Maccoll Mix has a more textured and tense indie feel.
Any of these are sure to do big things on the floor.

How do you tackle a British classic with a remix that’s already ingrained the culture of the last 30 years?
Ewan Pearson new take on Happy Monday's 'Hallelujah' sounds fresh from bringing Kirsty McColl’s backing vocals from the Steve Lillywhite mix to the fore.
The darker synth bass makes it remarkably easy to slip into a contemporary set, with its lo-slung robotic funk.
Shaun William Ryder remains high in the mix, never sounding better, or head to the dub to get twisted into the dark throb.
This 12" also includes the legendary Club mix by Andrew Weatherall & Paul Oakenfold plus the original plus the original track remastered.
