Description
RUBBER SOUL by Capitol Records (T 2442) released in 1965.
I am the original owner. I purchased this album in Connecticut when it came out in 1965. It was one of my first albums.
Album is in vintage condition and shows signs of wear from age and use. The cover still has the plastic wrapping on it (see photos). No seam splits. Comes with original inner sleeve (but bottom of inner sleeve is split open)
This album features the following unique characteristics of a first pressing:
- The vinyl label does not have the name of the band (THE BEATLES) under RUBBER SOUL.
- The vinyl has a Rainbow rim label.
- The album cover has a white border around it.
- The Inner sleeve is olive-green colored.
- T-X-1-2442 is printed on the label on side 1.
- T-X-2-2442 is printed on the label on side 2.
- The matrix etchings on the Run-Out Area on Side 1 are: T1-2442-TCG
- The matrix etchings on the Run-Out Area on Side 2 are: T2-2442-PlG
