SUPER RARE LONDON LABEL EP!

A REAL ONE OFF ON EBAY!!!!!!!! 

Here is  a chance to own  a 1963 UK EP on the LONDON Label-Four tracks by the early soul tinged vocal group-RUBY AND THE ROMANTICS.  

THIS IS A VERY,VERY SCARCE ITEM AS THERE WOULD BE VERY FEW THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN KEPT AS IT WAS NOT A BIG SELLER AND PROBABLY DELETED WITHIN A COUPLE OF YEARS OF ISSUE.

THE TITLE TRACK WAS AN AMERICAN NUMBER ONE BUT ONLY REACHED #38 IN THE UK CHARTS.

THE SINGLE ITSELF TURNS UP FROM TIME TO TIME BUT THIS LAVISH EP IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND.

DON'T FORGET EPs WERE AROUND TWICE THE PRICE OF SINGLES AND SO IT WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN A CASUAL PURCHASE TO MOST RECORD BUYERS IN 1963 WITH ALL THE DISTRACTIONS OF THE BEAT GROUPS.

THE EXPOSURE FOR THIS EP WOULD HAVE BEEN MINIMAL AND IN MOST CASES RECORD SHOPS WOULD ONLY STOCK A COUPLE OF COPIES OR EVEN ONLY GET IT TO ORDER.

IT IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION THERE IS A LITTLE SURFACE NOISE AND A FEW MINOR SURFACE MARKS-THE COVER REMOVAL TYPE BUT NO CLICKS, JUMPS OR CONSTANT SWISHES.  

IT IS PROBABLE THAT VERY FEW  COPIES SURVIVE OF THIS GEM  AND IN ALL THE 35 YEARS I HAVE BEEN COLLECTING, 21 OF THEM RUNNING MY SHOP, I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANOTHER COPY!!!!!!!

The centre is fully intact with  clean labels.Hardly any spindle wear

Housed in an ORIGINAL picture cover.There are a few minor creases round the edges.
