Auction for the mega scarce RP Live 1982 Catastrophe on Red Vinyl LP
Hopefully if you are looking at this auction you know what it is you are looking at. If not please check out Discogs to get a better idea of it. The sound quality is pretty average overall but, as you’ll know, a live recording of Rudimentary Peni in any form is pretty hard to come by. It’s pretty lo fi but it is stable. There’s a good amount of guitar feedback going on and Nick’s vocals are high in the mix (over the top of the music as such). Have a listen on youtube to get a feel for the sound if it’s a major part of wether it’s of interest to you.
Overall It’s in Excellent condition. The sleeve has some little spine creases and small corner dings but nice overall. The vinyl is nice overall with light hairlines, the odd mark or two and one obvious surface/pressing scuff which doesn’t affect the sound/play.(all in the photos)
