Description

RUFUS THOMAS
THE MEMPHIS TRAIN

You don't really think of Rufus Thomas as a Northern Soul artist, but this record could change all of that. "The Memphis Train" is a churning, rocking record with a solid horn section and a pounding beat. It's a dancefloor number that's sure to get 'em going with a hot guitar and blazing brass. And that's not even getting into all the train sound effects throughout the platter.

This 1968 original Stax 45rpm is flipped with the funky "I Think I Made A Boo Boo. "
