This was basically a project made up from the top UK session players at the time. Unsure if they even played gigs, as all 5 of them went under pseudonyms for the purposes of the LP.
Being session players, the music is of course, very well performed. A really funky organ and rhythm section, dirty distorted sounding guitar and a really excellent soulful vocal on top. The bass playing in particular here is truly amazing! Really great catchy tunes throughout with plenty of improvisation without being pretentious at all.
