Description

Here's an extremely rare original 1977 Mercury Records press kit for Rush's A Farewell to Kings. It includes the following pieces:

  • Five-page band bio and press release written by Neil Peart himself, tracing the band's history from a basement in suburban Toronto to the making of A Farewell To Kings. Neil also includes a detailed explanation of the album's concept and themes. 
  • Five 8" x 10" glossy publicity photos from the band's most recent tour
  • A printed folder featuring some of the same photos included inside
  • A reprint of an interview with Neil Peart, featured in the June 11, 1977 issue of Sounds

All pieces are in VG+ condition. The printed folder has some scuffs and shelf wear, and one of the photos has a discreet paper clip mark. See pics above.
