Description
Up for auction is a good condition, Rush Fly By Night picture disc. Also includes a double sided album art insert, and clear vinyl plastic sleeve in excellent condition.
This rare, HTF, and OOP Japanese pressing could be considered very good condition if not for a few blemishes which I will try to describe. I can only visually grade the album. Other than a 1 minute test into Anthem, I never played it.
I did not purchase it to play it. When I did put it on the turntable to test, the center hole was extremely tight. There was a slight warp as it turned, but if you are holding it in your hands, it is not discernable. The album weight seems like it could be 200 but is not specified on the insert. On the owl side, side one, if you look very closely on the pictures at the bottom, you may see small spots on the edge of the vinyl where it seems to have slightly separated at the very edge... not very noticeable, only if you are looking to find it. Also on side one, and in the dead wax area, and in the right light, you can also see smudging of some kind under the clear vinyl. Please see pictures. The insert is also in good condition... although a slight fold on the upper left side, but not a crease. Color is great. A few small indentures in the middle that are not very noticeable.
Now for the upside. The overall color of the album is still holding. The first picture is the best representation I could get of it. The record displays nicely and you won't notice the blemishes... unless you plan to play it frequently and examine it closely with a microscope, and under bright light. I've tried to preserve it and have enjoyed owning it, but it is time to find it a new home. Here is your chance to own it.
