- COMMENTS:1980 UK 1st issue 6-track vinyl LP including lyric inner sleeve, stiff card picture sleeve with the uncensored 'Dewey Defeats Truman' headline on the newspaper, sleeve shows very little wear other than to the edges and a little laminate lift to the front whilst the vinyl remains NEAR MINT - a fantastic copy of this rare edition of one the band's finest outputs! On initial pressing the News paper cover that is blowing in the wind reads "Dewei Defeats Truman". On later copies the headline was blanked out. Apparently the Chicago Tribune who erroneously published this headline objected. These early copies also have a much thicker (card) inner sleeve. Later copies had a thin, shiny paper inner sleeve that tore easily.

All my items are graded according to the Record Collector’s grading system:
M (Mint): The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and the extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
EX (Excellent): The record shows some signs of having been played but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VG (Very Good): The record has obviously been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
G (Good): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc.
F (Fair): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
