Up for bid is a rare LP, "I Am What I Am," by Ruth Copeland, featuring Tiki Fulwood, Eddie Hazel, and Bernie Worrell from Parliament Funkadelic. This is an original press, released by Invictus Records (SMAS 9802) in 1971. Here is some info about this LP from wikipedia:
I Am What I Am is the second album by English singer Ruth Copeland. The album was released by Invictus Records in 1971 and was produced and arranged by Ruth Copeland, though it is widely believed that the actual producer of the album was her then husband Jeffrey Bowen. As with her debut, Self Portrait, I Am What I Am contains contributions from George Clinton and the musicians from Parliament-Funkadelic, as well as local Detroit session players such as guitarist Ray Monette.
LP is VG+ to VG++, with several light scuffs on each side. LP plays with some light surface noise (crackle and tics) with no skips. LP is very clean and retains a nice gloss. Interior labels are extremely clean. Fold out jacket is VG+, with no seam splits. There is ring wear on the front and back of the jacket. There is wear on all seams and corners. Color on the jacket remains bright and jacket retains a nice gloss. Don't miss this very rare gem! We will pack this securely for safe delivery - this will be a little heavy due to the inserts we put in the LP mailer. LP will be removed from the jacket for transit. Domestic delivery will be via USPS media mail including a tracking number. International delivery is First Class International.
