CONDITION OF DISC ......... VG+
CONDITION OF COVER ....... E-

WORKIN' WITH THE MILES DAVIS QUINTET LP  (Prestige PRLP 7166).

RVG etched in dead wax, mastered by Rudy Van Gelder on a heavy, heavy platter! Beautiful blue sepia-tone cover pic w/ lustrous lamination. Rigid heavy jacket. Disc has rounded edge w/ deep groove on both sides. w/ John Coltrane, Red Garland & Paul Chambers, who plays an amazing upright bass solo w/ bow on "Ahmed's Blues."  Bergenfield address on label & cover. (Matrix # "RVG BN-LP-1503 A/B").

DISC  VG+

Eighth-inch chip on outer rim of side B: away from the sound grooves so it doesn't affect the music. Play grading reveals tolerable low-level background noise w/ the odd pop. I still drew immense pleasure from this very heavy platter. The music sounds very rich. I spotted no groove degradation; no distorted sound at the loud parts. No skips, warps or truly harsh noise on my average turntable. Some light marks & scratchlets here & there, with a fairly good platter sheen.

COVER  E-

Beautiful spine is all readable. Free of seam splits, speckles, stickers, writing, c/o marks, water damage, color fading & tape. Fine label: Sharp-cut hole w/ faint transparent spindle brushings. To my eyes, this cover holds superb visual appeal.

To save you money, we combine multiple items. Securely packed in extra padding w/ disc removed from jacket.
