Description
PINK FLOYD
THE WALL VOL. 2
CBS / Sondor 27.227 / 1980
Very rare Uruguay demo version of Floyd's The Wall 1st pressing on Sondor label. This small local label was the owner of CBS catalogue from the late 60's until the 80's. This particular edition comes housed in an exclusive demo sleeve that was specifically used to be sent to radio stations & dj's with promotional purposes and contains only the second disc of The Wall set and it was made probably by mid or late 80's. I guess that company run out of the double regular sleeves and that's the reason why they used this emergency one. Track listing is glued on verse & the words "Productor Fonográfico SONDOR S.A. can be read also on verse. I 've found this one myself at a radio station vault, I only found this Vol 2 but Vol 1 is highly likely to exist as well.
Jacket which consists of two pieces of thin cardboard is in Ex condition with only mild wear, has demo ink stamps on back "For Promotion Only - Sample Copy" ("Para Uso Publicitario - Muestra Sin Valor")
Disc is Ex , full luster & some lite sleeve scuffs, plays very fine, clean labels with demo ink stamp on A side
Item will be strongly packaged, Registered Airmail Worldwide is usd 20.- To avoid 2 or 3 months delays shipping to Italy will be only via EMS, Any Questions, Pls. e-Mail me!
