Here is some great black vocal harmony done by the Four Wanderers,

"Farmer's Life For Me" and "Street Urchin" on Race Series scroll label

Victor V-38540. This one doesn't show up very often.


Singing unaccompanied, the personnel are tenors Herman Hughes

and Charles Clinkscales, Maceo Johnson baritone, and Oliver Childs

bass.


This same quartet were featured vocalists on records by Henry Allen

Orchestra and Fats Waller & His Buddies.


Recorded on January 14, 1929, the record is in excellent-minus (E-)

condition.
