Description

Rachmaninoff - Eleven Piano Pieces - played by Sergei Rachmaninoff himself (RCA Victor M-722)

Complete set of five shellac records in sturdy book jacket with gold print.

Red Seal Records / RCA Victor Musical Masterpiece Series M-722 (2123-2127)

Includes 4 page leaflet with essay on the composer/performer and the played piano pieces.

Excerpt: "[Rachmaninoff's play] embodies a boldness and strength of manner now unhappily infrequent in musical performance. As an interpreter of his own works, Rachmaninoff need defer to none of the current virtuosi."

Collectible. Extremely rare. Extremely well preserved, posibbly played on the record player once or twice or even not at all. All in all three short and light scratches visible on all ten record sides, two of the records look perfect, like freshly pressed.

Will be shipped from Germany in well-shielded package. Overseas (USA, Canada, Asia) $16 mailing fees for surface, $32 for air mail.
